How We Roll

No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier (2 Timothy 2:4). Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16). You will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life (Philippians 2:15-16a).

I'm a young woman with the spiritual gift of teaching and a passion for writing. For the time being, God has called me to craft a verse-by-verse Bible study blog to use both of these abilities for His glory. I like saying it like it is and diving deep into history, culture, art, and language - and incorporating all of this into my approach of studying Scripture. Walking with Christ is the greatest adventure man will ever know - so let's not settle in for the long haul, but rather strap on our boots and run that race!

As Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a little donkey, so I pray that He may be willing to ride out before the people on such an unworthy instrument as I.
