Diversify

This week's Bible study tip: However you study the Bible outside of the Bible itself - be it commentaries, Christian living books, online sermons, or anything similar - make sure you read/listen to a few different people's viewpoints. Otherwise, you run the risk of getting that interpretation of Scripture stuck in your head as Scripture. It also helps you develop thinking skills for theology/doctrine yourself, instead of just saying, "So-and-so says this is what it means, so since he's got a theology degree, he must be right."

Going with that theme of different takes on things, I'd like to share two similar songs today: "Remind Me Who I Am" by Jason Gray, and "Someone Worth Dying For" by Mike's Chair.

Any prayer requests? ^_^
