And yes, it can absolutely be applied to God's love for us, His children! Seeing the man carry his son in his arms, enduring all that intense struggle just to see the son's victorious grin at the end...it's so powerful to remind us of Christ bearing us on His shoulders, enduring the pain of the cross so we could experience heaven with Him. Hebrews 12:2.

This is one of my favorite songs from when I was growing up! Awesome picture of a fathers love but also can be applied to THE fathers love :)
