Bible study tip of the week: When reading a passage of Scripture, take a moment to imagine/remember what it would sound like and mean to a nonbeliever who had no experience with the Bible.  When we read Scripture a lot, I think we can sometimes get desensitized to how radical God's message really is.  By imagining/remembering, we can (1) remind ourselves how gloriously radical the Gospel is, helping us to appreciate it all the more, and (2) become better able to communicate the message of the Bible to unbelievers.

For this week's video, I'd like to share a montage of the last words of famous athiests and unbelievers.

Even the people who were the most confident in all of history that God does not exist, were terrified of death because they knew, deep down in their soul, that they were wrong.  Don't wait until your deathbed to start thinking about God.  Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, right now?  If not, click on the tab above titled "How to Receive Salvation" or click here for the same page.

Finally, this week's prayer requests.  A friend of mine has a close family member who is having major surgery this week; please pray for the operation to go well and for God's peace to be with the family.

What can I pray for for YOU this week?

Any other thoughts you'd like to share? :-)
